[2–5] MYC rearrangement is found in multiple B cell lymphomas including Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL), high-grade B-cell lymphoma not otherwise specified (NOS) (previously known as B cell lymphoma, unclassifiable with features intermediate between DLBCL and Burkitt lymphoma [BCLU]), and rarely other neoplasms [6, 7]. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
