When compared to their paired adjacent normal samples, TNS2 mRNA was shown to be significantly downregulated in all six cancer types (Figure 7A), including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (GSE6631), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (GSE53624), breast cancer (GSE15852), lung adenocarcinoma (GSE12236), hepatocellular carcinoma (GSE14520), and colorectal carcinoma (GSE10950). The gene discussed is TNS2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
