Here, we observed the changes in spinal NR1, NR2B, and PKCε in IBS visceral hyperalgesia rats, and we compared the regulatory effects on spinal NR1, NR2B, and PKCε in IBS visceral hyperalgesia rats treated with moxibustion versus intrathecal injection of Ro 25-6981, a selective antagonist of the NMDA receptor channel composed of NR1/NR2B. Here, GRIN1 is linked to irritable bowel syndrome.
