The in vitro antioxidant, anti-diabetes, anti-dementia, and anti-inflammatory effects of the mushroom were verified by inhibitory activity on α-amylase, α-glucosidase, acetyl- and butyryl-cholinesterase, the production of NO, the expression of iNOS, and in vivo carrageenan-induced rat paw edema. This evidence concerns the gene NOS2 and dementia.
