As shown in Table 2, the younger age group was significantly more likely to have wild-type EGFR (OR = 1.68, 95% CI: 1.30∼2.17, P < 0.001), and stage IIIB/IV cancer at diagnosis than the older group (OR = 1.84, 95% CI: 1.22∼2.76, P = 0.003). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and cancer.
