With regard to the central role of ROS in aggravation of AP and mentioned characteristics of Q10, we designed an experimental study to investigate the effects of this enzyme on pancreas histopathological outcomes, as well as changes in serum lipase, amylase, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-10, superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), myeloperoxidase (MPO), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH) in L-arginine-induced AP in rats. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and alkaline phosphatase measurement.
