Probably, the examined polymorphisms of the SENP1 (c.1691 + 36C > T, rs12297820) and SENP2 (c.902C > A, p.Thr301Lys, rs6762208) genes cannot be independent markers of breast cancer but our studies may be useful in building a set of molecular and clinical markers helpful for diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene SENP2 and breast carcinoma.
