Moreover, in normal gastric mucosa and adjacent tissues, we observed a dominant cytoplasmic distribution of GRIM-19 in normal gastric epithelial cells, whereas in GC tissues, it was predominantly distributed in perinuclear regions or nuclei of tumor cells (Figure 1D), suggesting a different cellular distribution of GRIM-19 between GC tissues and non-tumor gastric tissues.
