CRP and psoriasis: Aim of this case–control, cross-sectional study was: (i) to investigate the differences in the PhA between patients affected with psoriasis and healthy controls; (ii) to evaluate the association of the PhA with the clinical severity of the disease, assessed by standardized psoriasis area and severity index (PASI) score and c-reactive protein (CRP) levels, and the quality of life, evaluated by dermatology life quality index (DLQI); (iii) to verify the potential usefulness of PhA as an early marker of the MetS associated to psoriasis.
