Finally, Magri et al. in a very recent follow up study to above cited 2012 study, not surprisingly reported that the likelihood of poor response to ovarian hyperstimulation with gonadotropins (i.e., of poor FOR) was high in women with low AMH but, apparently, not related to autoimmune thyroid disease; when FOR was considered “good,” autoimmune thyroid disease was, however, associated with decreased response to ovarian stimulation [32]. Here, AMH is linked to autoimmune thyroid disease.
