Positive staining for cytokeratins (e.g., AE1 and AE3), epithelial membrane antigen (EMA), S-100, galectin-3, and brachyury were consistent with notochordal remnants (i.e., both EP and chordoma), as were negative staining for GFAP, CEA, and 5’-nucleotidase.
