The results of meta-analysis demonstrated that no correlation was found between the infiltration of FoxP3+ Tregs and tumor size (OR = 1.24, 95%CI: 0.89–1.74; P = 0.211), lymph node metastasis (OR = 0.98, 95%CI: 0.60–1.61; P = 0.944), vascular invasion (OR = 1.29, 95%CI: 0.80–2.09; P = 0.296), lymphatic invasion (OR = 1.05, 95% CI: 0.61–1.81; P = 0.848) and pleural invasion (OR = 1.49, 95% CI: 0.90–2.46; P = 0.119) (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
