Lung cancer was the most frequent primary tumor site in both groups (19%); 45% vs 34% of patients had more than two metastatic sites; 37% vs 29% of LDH values were above the upper normal limit; 42% vs 36% of albumin levels were < 35 g/L, and the duration of PFS after the previous chemotherapy line was 12 ([9–18]) vs 14 weeks ([10–30]), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and lung cancer.
