The multivariate analysis showed that only the HCV genotype was associated with HCV-RNA levels in HCV-infected patients (HCV genotype 1, 95% CI of β: 2.886–5.78, P < 0.001) among factors including sex, age, BMI, Glu, TGs, HDL-C, ALT, systolic blood pressure, eGFR, MS, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular events, renal disease, HCV genotype, and the smoking and alcohol drinking habits. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and diabetes mellitus.
