The multivariate analysis showed that only the HCV genotype was associated with HCV-RNA levels in HCV-infected patients (HCV genotype 1, 95% CI of β: 2.886–5.78, P < 0.001) among factors including sex, age, BMI, Glu, TGs, HDL-C, ALT, systolic blood pressure, eGFR, MS, liver cirrhosis, fatty liver, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular events, renal disease, HCV genotype, and the smoking and alcohol drinking habits. The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is cirrhosis of liver.
