Those that effect a change in cell-cell cohesiveness (e.g. VIM, SPARC, COL4A1, and the integrins, ITGA4 and ITGAV), and have been shown to be over expressed in human or mouse melanoma samples [3, 29, 36, 37], are each associated with one or more UV-miRNAs (Fig 4c and S3 Table).
