The EDNRB inhibitors, BQ788, A192621, and Bonsentan inhibit melanoma cell growth in vitro, in xenografts of human melanomas in nude mice, and in some human patients, and restore cell morphology to a more normal appearance (Bagnato et al., 2004; Lahav et al., 2004; Berger et al., 2006; Kefford et al., 2007; Cruz-Muñoz et al., 2012; Asundi et al., 2014; Wouters et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene EDNRB and melanoma.
