These findings suggest that ARHGEF15 could serve as a therapeutic target for the development of treatments against pancreatic cancer, and that ARHGEF15 inhibition might have anti-cancer effects, including metastasis-inhibitory effect, anti-proliferative effect and anti-angiogenic effect, via suppressing activation of the Rho-family proteins. The gene discussed is ARHGEF15; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
