A recent report studying 17 locally advanced or metastatic CDC tumors detected 36 genomic alterations, the most common being NF2 (29%), SETD2 (24%), SMARCH1 (18%), and CDKN2A (12%), suggesting a potential role for mTOR inhibitors in patients with NF2 alterations [13].
