DIM-C-pPhOH was initially characterized as an inhibitor of NR4A1-dependent transactivation and recent structure-binding studies demonstrate that DIM-C-pPhOH, DIM-C-pPhCO2Me and other C-DIMs bind the ligand binding domain of NR4A1 and exhibit NR4A1 antagonist activity in colon cancer cells [16]. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and colonic neoplasm.
