The present study described the automated radiosynthesis and preclinical validation of (S)-2-[3-((S)-1-carboxy-5-[3-(6-fluoropyridine)carbonyl)amino)pentyl)ureido]-pentanedioic acid ([18F]DCFPyL) as a radiotracer for molecular imaging of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) in prostate cancer.
