TP53 and cancer: Interestingly, mutant p53 expressing cancers are more metastatic in a number of contexts [21,25,26,27,28], and high RhoA activity has been observed at the leading edge of pancreatic cancer cells harbouring such mutations [29], suggesting that RhoA mediated protrusion could underlie the protrusive and invasive characteristics of a variety of metastatic tumours.
