To elucidate whether the anti‐inflammatory effect was due to GPER, we further injected the GPER antagonist G15 (in 50 μL DMSO, 4.7 μg/kg) along with the E2 and the GPER agonist G1 alone (in 50 μL DMSO, 0.5 μg/kg) after ischemia was induced. This evidence concerns the gene GPER1 and ischemia.
