In this current study, we showed that both 1α,25(OH)2D3 and MART-10 could effectively attenuate triple negative breast cancer cells metastatic potential through repression of EMT process and induction of cadherin switching (upregulation of E-cadherin and downregulation of N-cadherin) with MART-10 much more potent than 1α,25(OH)2D3. The gene discussed is CDH2; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
