Other RBPMS partners we identified included PICALM, a clathrin adaptor with a role in Alzheimer's disease (Moreau et al, 2014), TCF7L2, a Wnt signaling transcription factor (Korinek et al, 1997) and PATZ1, a transcriptional regulator with a role in cell death and proliferation (Valentino et al, 2013) and differentiation (Ow et al, 2014). The gene discussed is TCF7L2; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
