Our previous studies have shown that geranylgeranylation signaling stimulates proliferation, migration and invasion of triple negative (ER-/PR-/Her-) breast cancer cells through activation of the Hippo-YAP/TAZ pathway and expression of CYR61, but not in ER+ breast cancer cell lines [21], suggesting that the Hippo-YAP/TAZ signaling is important for breast cancer progression.
