These experiments revealed that the protocol of pretreatment with LDE225 followed by irradiation could efficiently inhibit HL60/ADR and HL60/RX tumor growth in vivo, and the mechanism by which LDE225 sensitizes cells to radiation may be mediated through inhibition of the Gli-1/pAKT/NF-kB pathway.
