The absence of EGFR mutations in chordomas is shared with other cancers, such as head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and colorectal and pancreatic cancers, which are known to respond to anti‐EGFR therapy to varying degrees 52, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72. Here, EGFR is linked to familial pancreatic carcinoma.
