Higher expression of HSPs in TETs of lower Masaoka-Koga stages is in line with SCC of the tongue where overexpression of HSP27 is associated with early tumor stages and grade 1 tumors38 and Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) where overexpression of HSP27 and 70i were favorable prognostic factors for survival37. This evidence concerns the gene HSPB1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
