The values of body mass index (BMI) and serum triglyceride (TG), and the prevalence of diabetes and hypertension were higher but the levels of serum total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), ApoA1, and the ratio of ApoA1 to ApoB were lower in both CHD and IS patients than in controls (p < 0.05–0.001).
