Our results discover p100 protein suppression in human bladder cancers and BBN-induced mouse bladder cancers, also demonstrate that p100 exhibits its tumor suppressive effect on bladder cancer, through a novel mechanism of targeting PHLPP2/CREB/miR-302d axis of inhibition on Cyclin D1 protein translation as diagramed in Figure 8.
