Similarly, pulmonary infections by ubiquitous inhaled molds, or infections by Cryptococcus neoformans, Cryptococcus gattii, Pneumocystis jirovecii, and the endemic dimorphic fungi (i.e., Histoplasma capsulatum, Coccidioides immitis, or Blastomyces dermatitidis) have also not been reported thus far in CARD9-deficient patients.
