Little ERK1/2 phosphorylation was observed following infection with the rim101Δ/Δ mutant and no ERK1/2 phosphorylation was observed following infection with the efg1Δ/Δ cph1Δ/Δ mutant nor with S. cerevisiae. Similar results were observed for p38 phosphorylation (data not shown). Here, MAPK3 is linked to infection.
