LCMC data showed that actionable mutations in genes such as EGFR, K-RAS, N-RAS, ALK, ERBB2, BRAF, PIK3CA, AKT, MEK1 and MET amplification, were found in >60% of lung adenocarcinomas and patients who received treatment guided by tumor genotyping lived longer compared to patients who did not receive targeted treatment [7].
