To further determine whether the phosphorylation of the MEK/ERK cascade other than p38 or JNK was indispensable for the induction of AML differentiation by the ATRA and TAK165 combination treatment, the HL60 and NB4 cells were treated with TAK165 and ATRA in the presence of different MAPK inhibitors, and then, the expression of CD11b was analyzed. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
