LEP and Feingold syndrome: In an attempt to explain our results concerning the anticonvulsant action of leptin, we studied the CSF level of leptin in our patients, which was significantly lower in patients with CFS compared to those with SFS. This finding has never been reported in children with FS. Our results were different from those of Khoshdel et al. [23] who reported no important change in serum leptin levels between children with simple febrile seizures and febrile children without seizures.
