Yet interestingly, FNDC4 expression was significantly increased in inflamed regions of the intestine when compared with non-inflamed regions from the same subjects in both ulcerative colitis (P=0.002; paired T-test, Fig. 2c) and Crohn's disease (P=0.007; paired T-test, Fig. 2d).
