MMP9 and urinary bladder carcinoma: Wieczorek et al. [56] have found that the combined genotype MMP2 -1306 C/T (rs243865) allele T with MMP9 -1562 C/T (rs3918242) allele T increased bladder cancer risk (OR 2.00, 95% CI 1.10–3.62; p = 0.022).
