The most striking observation is that TSLP expression in nasal polyp epithelium (487.8 ± 72.2 fold, p<0.05) is much more affected by the TLR3 agonist poly(I:C) than in epithelium from healthy individuals (37.5 ± 7.8 fold, p < 0.05), despite no significant differences in IL-6 or IL-8 up-regulation levels between both cell types.
