Because knockdown of EZH2 by siRNA against EZH2 (siEZH2) exerts an inhibitory effect on lung cancer cell proliferation, to rule out the possibility that the less number of viable cells trans-membraned in the siEZH2 group was the result of siEZH2′s suppressive effect on cell proliferation, we determined the number of viable cells incubated in medium with 1% or 10% FBS between the siRNA against a control (siControl) and the siEZH2 group at 9 hours post cell plating. This evidence concerns the gene EZH2 and lung carcinoma.
