INS and metabolic disease: The treatment with Brassica corrected the metabolic disorders by reducing glycemia, triglyceridemia, cholesterolemia, and creatinemia levels and increased the levels of insulin compared to animals submitted to hyperglucidic diet (HGD) (Tables 2(a) and 2(b)), protected the animals vascular complication by decreasing in atherogenic markers, and increased the cardioprotective lipid (Table 2(a)).
