If we consider the association between the concentrations of proteins tested and clinicopathological parameters of EC, the CXCL12 and its receptor levels increased with the depth of tumor invasion and the presence of lymph node metastasis and were the highest in T4 and N1 subgroups, similarly to SCC-Ag concentrations. The gene discussed is CXCL12; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
