Some predictive factors for resistance to H. pylori eradiation in gastric MALT lymphoma have been demonstrated, such as the absence of H. pylori infection [8, 14, 15, 18], advanced stage [8, 14], a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma component [9, 19–21], proximal location [16, 22], endoscopic nonsuperficial type [18, 19], deep invasion of lymphoma in the gastric wall [20, 23], and t(11;18)/API2-MALT1 translocation [14, 22]. This evidence concerns the gene MALT1 and lymphoma.
