One of these reports found that a POSTN-associated signature that included seven genes present also in our signature was linked to primary chemoresistance in ovarian cancer patients (Ryner et al. 2015); although these authors described POSTN expression only in the peritumoral stroma, we detected its expression by immunohistochemistry in a large subset of analyzed tumors (unpublished). This evidence concerns the gene POSTN and ovarian cancer.
