SNAI1 and carcinoma: Notably, the Snail1 mRNA translation can be activated by Y box binding protein 1 in various malignant carcinomas and there exist several of post‐translational modifications including the p21‐activated kinase 1 which can regulate the level of subcellular localization via Snail phosphorylation, as well as glycogen synthesis kinase 3b‐mediated phosphorylation which would facilitate the ubiquitine‐dependent Snail degradation 62, 63.
