The high EDA-FN concentration (Fig. 2b) in the plasma samples of patients with high risk of CAD compared with its low level in the plasma of controls as well as patients with low risk of CAD (Fig. 2b) has also been observed by others in ischemic stroke [36], diabetes [37], atherosclerosis [30], and cancer [38].
