The present work also revealed the presence of FN-fibrin complexes of 750, 1000, 1300, and 1600 kDa in some plasma samples of patients with a high risk of CAD (Table 2, Fig. 2), which were absent in the plasma of age-matched patients and those with a low risk of CAD, though with the exception of the presence of the complex with the smallest molecular mass of 750 kDa. The gene discussed is FN1; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
