Anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 over-expression has been reported in several human cancers, including prostate cancer, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), melanoma, etc. [56–58], resulting in protection of cancer cells from apoptosis or inhibition of TRAIL-induced apoptosis [59,60]. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
