To determine whether enzalutamide was capable of increasing the sensitivity of breast cancer cells to antigen-specific T cell lysis, ZR75-1 (ER+AR+), BT549 (ER-AR+) and MDA MB 231 (ER-AR-) cells were treated with vehicle or 10 μM enzalutamide and used as target cells for CTL-mediated killing assays utilizing CEA-specific cytotoxic T-cells (CTL). The gene discussed is ESR1; the disease is breast cancer.
