Here, we found enrichment for binding sites of ARNTL, important for circadian rhythm associated with BD (Nievergelt et al., 2006), MEF2D, involved in neuronal differentiation and PD (Yang et al., 2009), and MEF2C, involved in ASD, ID, and epilepsy (Novara et al., 2010) among others (Table S3B). This evidence concerns the gene BMAL1 and Parkinson disease.
