IL10 mRNA levels in freshly isolated PBMCs from infected patients were 3.8-fold higher than the uninfected group (p = 0.001; Figure 3F), and there was a 4.8-fold higher mRNA level in the samples from infected patients without peptic ulcer disease compared to those who had ulcers (p = 0.017). This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and peptic ulcer disease.
