Given that c-Myc strongly promotes the expression of miR-17, miR-20a, and miR-106a, as indicated by Fig. 6 as well as our previous report25, suppression of c-Myc level in APL cells by ATO treatment may play a key role in downregulation of miR-17, miR-20a and miR-106a, and thus upregulation of SIRPα protein translation.
